Terms & Conditions
1. Payment
To confirm a booking we require a non- refundable deposit of £100 unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. The due date for the balance outstanding will be shown on the front of this document. Failure to pay your balance by the due date will result in your booking being cancelled. All deposits are non- refundable.
Your deposit payment and receipt forms a binding contract with Sackville Travel Services Ltd and consequently you are bound by the terms and conditions as stated on the reverse of this receipt/invoice. This contract is governed by English law and the Jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Personal/Company cheques – Payment may be made by Cheque. Cheques should be made out to Sackville Travel. Please note that we need to allow 10 working days for the cheque to clear. Should the cheque be returned for any reason, we will levy a £15 charge to your booking.
Cash – We do accept cash, however we advise customers not to post cash to us.
Debit Cards – Switch or Visa Delta debit cards are welcomed. We cannot accept debit card payments from a third party.
Credit Cards – We accept most major Credit Cards. We cannot accept credit card payments from a third party. Please note that the following surcharges are incurred 2% on MasterCard and Visa, 3% on American Express. We do not accept Diners Club cards.
Refunds
In the event that Sackville Travel has to refund a passenger, this will be done in the same manner in which payment was made. I.e. Sackville Travel will refund by Cheque if this was the method of payment to Sackville Travel. Refunds by cheque will only be made once the initial payment has cleared. All refunds from Sackville Travel will be payable to the original payee.
2. Cancellation & Amendments - By You
The cancellation fees pertaining to your flight are stated on the front of this document. Due to the very high cancellation and amendment charges of some airlines we strongly recommend that you purchase some form of travel insurance.
3. Cancellation & Amendments - By Us
All flight details are correct at the time of booking as shown on your confirmation invoice; however airlines do change their schedules and can cancel flights at short notice. We will endeavour to notify you of any substantial changes as soon as we are advised. All flight times must be checked by the passenger at least 48 hours before departure.
Force Majeure
We regret that neither we nor the supplier of the services in question can accept responsibility or be liable for compensation claims in the event of "Force Majeure".
Circumstances amounting to Force Majeure are unforeseen events such as war or threat of war riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or Government action.
4. Fares & Taxes Increases
All prices and taxes are subject to change with out prior notice. Where a fare increase comes in force we will endeavour to give you notice, however this is not always possible. A fare increase will not apply once we are in receipt of full payment by cleared funds.
5. Name Changes
Passenger names must appear as they are shown in your passport. Any changes to the spelling of a name will constitute a name change which is not allowed by the airlines. Any changes to a name on a booking will ensure the original named passenger being cancelled from the booking and a new booking being made in the new name all cancellations are subject to the cancellation fees outlined on the reverse of this document.
6. Passports Visas & Health Advice
All passengers must be in possession of a valid passport and visa where necessary. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure all requirements of entry for the country you are visiting are met before date of travel. Sackville Travel cannot be held responsible for costs incurred by you if you fail to be admitted to any country. Please check with the relevant Embassy & high commissions for the country being visited to obtain updates on the requirements.
7. Tickets & Ticket Dispatch
We will release all schedule airline tickets e.g. British Airways, Virgin Atlantic & Air Jamaica on receipt of full payment by cleared funds (cash, credit card & building society cheques) unless otherwise advised. Payment by personal or company cheque will require 10 days clearance before we can release travel documents. Tickets for Charter flights will be issued approximately two weeks before the departure date.
Most airlines now insist that we issue customers with an e-ticket receipt. The e-ticket replaces the paper ticket and can be used for check-in in the normal way. Should you require a paper ticket this will incur an additional charge.
All ticket documents should be kept in a safe place. Should you mislay or lose your ticket you may have to pay in full for a new ticket to be issued. Costs will be incurred per passenger.
All tickets are issued in accordance with each airlines condition of carriage. Copies of these are available on request.
8. Date Changes
All date changes must be made 24 hours before the original date of departure (as per your itinerary & ticket). Date changes can only be made within the validity of the ticket which is clearly shown on the front of your initial receipt or the reverse of your initial invoice if booked by telephone.
ANY DATE CHANGES TO OUTBOUND OR RETURN DATES MUST BE MADE BEFORE THE ORIGINAL DATE OF DEPARTURE. Failure to travel on your prebooked departure date without making changes to your flight will constitute a cancellation to your reservation, which is non refundable.
9. Data Protection
By making a booking with any company within the Sackville Travel Services Ltd group, you agree to the use and disclosure of information given to us for the following purposes:
To process your booking (when the information may be sent abroad), for market research, to prevent fraud and to enable us to contact you by letter, telephone or email you with details of our service. If you purchase our insurance we may pass your details to the insurers.

If you fail to turn up for flight or cancel within 24 hours of departure, there will be no refund. You will have to buy a complete new set of tickets.
